Eh, you can pretty much say that about everyone in the show, though. Nick gets a lot more from Hank and Juliette than he gives them back. All of them would arguably be "just fine" in their Wesen-free lives without Nick, but Nick has relied on them all at some point or another to save his behind in his very Wesen-ated existence [Such is the lot of a "supporting character", after all]. That doesn't mean you call Nick a bad friend to any of them, or accuse Nick of selfishness the way Monroe implied it.
Just about the only character that owes Nick more than Nick owes them is probably Renard, who's protected Nick from his family and taken a lot of chances/called in a lot of favors for Nick, and all Nick's really done to advance Sean's interests (thus far) is make his brother look impotent by beating all the assassins he sent.
