Catherine was a hexenbiest. Renard is a zauerbiest. It's not incorrect to state Catherine, the hexenbiest, was indebted to Renard, the zauerbiest, anymore than calling Nick a Grimm. I'm not sure what you're getting at here, but it seems you're splitting hairs.
