Instead of watching all the seasons episodes. then go on some GoT forum and bitch, complain, make up stuff that did not happen to support my opinions on how the show sucked. Instead of all that, I just changed to another show.
Makes you wonder about some people are constantly complaining about a TV show’s main character, Nick, a Grimm, on a TV show named “GRIMM”.
I happen to think people who watch the show thoroughly are the most qualified to criticize it. I never agreed with the "don't like it, don't watch it" attitude because I feel like some fans of a show don't want any criticism of their show and are trying to drive away anyone who doesn't blindly praise their show for everything they do. I know you're not that type of fan but I had to disagree with the "don't like it, don't watch it" sentiment.
I think criticizing a main character of a series is not out of bounds even if it happens constantly. I know a lot of criticism against characters like Dexter, House, and the golden boy Jon Snow is warranted. Writers have certainty screwed them up un the later seasons of their shows just to push the plot with their desired outcome along. They become less and less consistent so they become more ripe for criticism and in some cases vitriol.
However, I know we will agree it depends on what the criticism is based on. There are plenty of things to criticize characters like Nick for but they have to stem from things that actually happened in the show. They can't come from obvious misconceptions or throwing stuff out there so it seems like bashing for the sake of bashing. That goes for every character, especially Adalind and Juliette because they get bashed for things that I just don't see myself. I have vehemently disagreed with opinions such as Juliette slumming it with Nick and Adalind just using him until something better comes along because I just didn't see anything in the series to support that opinion. Nick can afford to take some hits but they really have to based on the reality of the Grimmverse.
