I would disagree. Clark Kent is not a public servant. Nick Burkhardt is. Kent never took an oath to protect and serve. Burkhardt did. Burkhardt is subject to a very high public standard as a detective. As a reporter, Kent is subject to his boss.
The only similarity the two is that they took on the mantle of making themselves caretakers in deciding the fate of others. Not so long ago there was a discussion on this forum about Superman and how he took matters into his own hands by using his powers to tamper with humanity. While Superman is supposed to be force for good, he was not elected by humans to determine what is good and what to do with humans who violate his definition of good. It's the same with Nick, only on a smaller scale.

You know better than that, FaceInTheCrowd. Think about the reason you'd even bother to ask this question. I'd bet money that there is no reason and that you could care less if I like the show or not.
ETA: Just so you know, from those who have asked the question, the lamest, dishonest, and most ridiculous answer I've gotten is that they asked the question because they're "curious". In other words there was no reason. As I said, no one here cares whether I like the show or not.

But these are all people I meet while working on shoots, so the fact that they're making off-duty money working on them might skew their viewpoints.
Who knows, maybe being in the unreal world of a set part of the time helps them deal with the real world of being a cop. If so, good for them.

Are they?
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
