Everything we've seen about hexens and zaubers indicates they are hedonistic lovers with a salt shaker of SM thrown in. It's a part of the background of this show, and a Wesen trait that could well be a turn-off for Nick if he was ever allowed the choice of experiencing it. If so, their relationship would be toast even if Juliette wasn't jumping her moral compass shark.
A previous poster said that Juliette was clear as to why she was done, and that her feeling of empowerment should be a huge point in the character's favor, especially from all the passive Juliette detractors. Here's my counterpoint: I do not see Juliette's empowerment. I see her being controlled by her powers, allowing herself to be manipulated by the new situation into actions that violate the integrity of her character. Can a psychotic break be truly empowering?
Lets remember when Juliette hooked up with Sean she had moved out and broke it off with Nick. The most Juliette could be accused of is having rebound sex.
That she is having rebound sex which is something the old Juliette would not do. Does not mean she has a problem. Because she has a different personality does not mean she is violating the integrity of her character. It is a different character. It would be no difference then someone that just had a complete plastic makeover, complete with implants. Their personality would be a lot difference. Where they may have be a shy introvert. After the work they may become a very outgoing sexually active extrovert. That would not make them psychotic.
Even Juliette joining the Royals does not mean she is losing her mind. She has just changed her priorities and views on what she finds important. If changing her views makes her psychotic, then the same could be said for someone that goes from conservative to liberal or liberal to conservative.
