But the thing is...
1. Turns red. (We don't see anyone's eyes turn red.)
2. Turns purple. (That's Hank falling for Hank.)
3. Turns blue. (We don't see anyone's eyes turn blue.)
4. Turns light green. (That's Monroe, falling for Eve.)
5. Turns pinkish. (That's Nick falling for Rosalee.)
6. Turns turquoise. (That's Eve falling for Nick.)
7. Turns orange. (That's Adalind falling for Monroe.)
--- Rosalee obviously doesn't have her eyes change (until she woges later in the ep), and Drew's turn whitish, possibly light blueish, but definitely not the deep blue of the 3rd potion.
What confuses me though, is that the Cupido has carefully labelled little bags for the various hairs he collects (I'm truly impressed he had those handy just in case he needs them!). And the one he labelled 2 he uses in a room with a very cheerful flowery vanity bag. While the one he uses to collect 7 is from Hank's room, unless I'm very much mistaken. The thing is... if he actually took the time to label those bags (probably to ensure that he wouldn't accidentally give everyone their own hair or their partner's?), why didn't he use them in the order he chose?
Also... everyone knows you shouldn't bring Nick -and Juliette- if you want to have a good time. They clearly didn't manage to have a quiet romantic weekend by themselves. Having them along for the wedding caused nothing but trouble. And now this. (And no, it's not Rosalee and Monroe. They had perfectly lovely honeymoon.)
Ahh as for the colors. One of those, blue or red, was meant for Rosalee but she refused to drink because she was pregnant. What do you get if you mix red and blue? Purple. Could it be that those are the two that Hank drank? The red and the blue = purple?
Drew's drink got contaminated by the hotel chick by accident and it must of overpowered or overwritten what it was intended for. Maybe this was the purple one and not the one Hank drank at all.
As for the whole Nick & Juliette/Eve/Evette/FranknEve was a small ploy from the creative team to give the Nickollete fans one last hurrah. I know some might disagree, but Juliette was the one to walk out on Nick, back in S4. Here we get her looking to hook back up with her old heartthrob, Nick. Hey, how is that for 'writers intent".
Ohhh, fascinating theory. I thought Hank had the purple drink because his eyes look just like it (a lot like Diana’s when she’s doing witchy things). But I love that idea.
Yeah, Holly really had a bad day. So the purple one could’ve been Adalind’s then. (Going by the flowery case.) - But that still doesn’t explain how the 7 (which I’m fairly certain is supposed to be Hank’s hair) makes Adalind fall for Monroe.
I’ll have to admit that Nick’s love life isn’t my main interest in the show. The only ship I care about in this canon is Rosalee & Monroe, and while they might have their occasional problem, they’re thankfully adults who can get past those without any major fallouts. (Which is one of the reasons I like the ship.)
But if I was invested in that pairing, I don’t think I would appreciate what we saw in this episode. It’s basically just a strange reminder of what was, once. And I’m not sure we see Julietteve wanting Nick back. I think what we get is an approximate of how each character would behave if they suddenly had extreme feelings for one of the other characters for some reason. And while for most of them that comes rather out of nowhere (I’m sure Nick likes Rosalee, but I rather doubt he’s got any deep hidden feelings for her; I’m pretty sure Monroe must’ve been rather confused that he suddenly has these intense feelings for Eve, we even get a “now” when he talks about his feelings for her, as if he’s still aware that they are rather sudden. And while I hope Hank loves himself, I doubt he usually spends his time singing to his mirror image.) But for Julietteve there is something for her to build on and explain these random feelings to some extent. I don’t think it’s her actually wanting him back. I just think that each of the characters tries their best to make sense of what’s going on with them. By the beginning of the episode she still tells Diana that it wouldn’t be right for her to be with Nick anymore because things are different now.
I guess thats the overwhelming override of their feelings since the instigator is done by a Cupid type Wesen. If you check on what Evette was saying to Nick and to Adalind, she well aware of their past between Nick, Juliette and Adalind.
I deny the idea of my ability to perceive 'writers intent". This is a pure educated guess, on my part. I see no other reasons for the the purpose of this episode, main arc. IMO, it was to place the whole gang in danger by being killed off by a pissed-off Wesen because Nick was responsible for getting his father incarcerated.
Besides the Diane arc and placing the whole gang in danger. They get to kill two more birds with one stone. They get to torture the "Nadalind" fans while getting the "Nickolette" fans pantie's wet. This is pure speculation of a parting shot to a, soon to end, TV Series. ROFLMAO.
After better deduction with names and lines to connect on a piece of paper. A better recap, is a possible scenario of who drank who's hair?
1) Red, Hank drank Wu's hair.
2) Purple, then Hank drank his own hair to overwrite Wu.
3) Blue, Wu drank Adalind's hair overwritten by Holly
4) Light Green, Monroe drank Evette's hair. .
5) Pinkish, Nick drank Rosalee's hair.
6) Turquoise, Evette drank Nick's hair.
7) Orange, Adalind drank Monro's hair.
--- Rosalee was drink free.
It could be a possible scenario. Maybe the red and blue can be flipped, same results. What I find real disgusting about the whole scenario is what you completely overlooked. That bastard spit in all the glasses. YUK!
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
