Is she just naturally awkward and was unsure of how to act in that situation? Why did she and Nick share a strange look in the last episode? That’s my take on the Eve/Juliette scenario too. Eve might now be capable of experiencing Juliette’s feelings and memories, but she wouldn’t confuse them as her own. If anything, Eve would be uncomfortable with any desire she might have for Nick because of Juliette’s feelings.
Am I mistaken in thinking that Eve wouldn't show signs of having some type of feelings for Nick? Is Eve starting to fall for Nick too and that's separate from Juliette? I suppose Eve doesn't really have strong feelings for Nick and those things were thrown in for comic relief.
Eve would not have stepped up to ask Nick a personal question to confirm he wasn’t Renard, she would have left that up to one of Nick’s friends who she considered actually having a personal relationship with Nick. And even if Eve had an emotional response to the face in the mirror, she would have hidden it, not excitedly broadcast the fact then follow up by asking Nick to decide whether she could tell Monroe and Rosalee.

She could be shown not to be the person she once was in every episode but you still judge her for not laying her life on the line Nick.I imagine if Adalind died saving the entire gang, there would be a reason her motivation was selfish. Adalind refused to help Bonaparte/BC, and continued to refuse even after realizing the extent of Bonaparte’s cruelty and abilities, to the point of risking the same death as Meisner. Yet, it isn’t enough, and had Adalind died she would have gotten what she deserved for leaving Nick.
Remove the double standards and contrived justification and there isn’t any distinction between good & bad and right & wrong.
