He was much more resilient than either of them”. When I respond, you turn around and say: Nope, not comparing them at all". What did I misunderstand?
I look at the word, comparison, as an assessment of similarities between two or more things, people, etc. That was not my intent as I was citing differences. You said Renard was bitter. I disagreed and cited examples of bitterness in the series.
I assumed you were doing the same when you posted this statement:
Quote:Secondly, you are comparing Nick and Adalind losing their powers to Renard being stripped of the mayorship? That’s like comparing getting fired to losing an arm
I don't know why you think I'd be making a comparison when it's seems from your statement that there is no comparison. Or am I misunderstanding what you're trying to say?

I also don't recall him seeking and getting revenge against Nick and Adalind for their little stunt. However, I'm assuming that if he did, I'm sure someone will be posting the script as proof.
I never said anything about Renard “hatching some kind of plot to get it back”, I tried to explain why his behavior was consistent with that of a bitter person. Renard thought he deserved to be
Mayor – it’s something you can derive from the storyline and his personality. Besides, he shouted to Nick: “The people of the city elected me as mayor!”. In an early episode of Grimm, we saw Renard daydreaming about a big crowd of people worshiping him. Renard was very power-hungry.

The only part that made it to the screen was a scene in 604 where Renard suggests to Diana that Nick might hurt Adalind. Then word came that the network wasn't going to spring for more than 13 episodes no matter how good the ratings were for the first 13. Renard the villain was abruptly scrapped, and a couple of filler episodes were put in the shooting order while the Z series finale arc was being worked on.
Do you know this or is it what you think happened? I’m taking about their plans for Renard in season 6.
