I know this is the Renard thread, but I am curious because this isn't the first time I've read a statement like this. There are a lot of people who lay the big blame on Juliette because she wanted a normal life with Nick. What's wrong with that?
My point in that post was Juliette had more than one view of things. Syscrash made the point that Eve was better person than Adalind because she risk her life all the time to save to save Nick. My point is even Juliette often wanted a normal live too not that it was bad to want it. IMO that does not make Adalind a bad person or con artist if she is not out risking her life all the time. In fact, most people do not do that.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
