It would be interesting to know more about Hexenbiest, but if the show doesn’t follow the information provided, it really doesn’t mean anything. Adalind said the Hexenbiest changes/controls the person. The gang acted like Juliette becoming a Hexenbiest meant she would be an immediate threat.
But Adalind was as mousy after the suppressant wore off as she was before. Juliette had been a Hexenbiest at least a few days before she told Nick, and during that time she didn’t attack or murder any of her friends. I recall Juliette imagining doing bad things as a Hexenbiest, but that could have been a manifestation of fear over how she might change and how Nick and the others would react to her.
