It still sounds like double standards to me that Adalind can not make a sincere decision to make a better life for herself, but Juliette can go Hexenbiest evil and bounce back like a champ.
But let’s go with your take on the evil vixen. If Adalind is acting with her head, why didn’t she try reaching out to Renard before writing him off as a lost cause? Renard is clearly a better choice for someone who thinks as a Hexenbiest. Renard already had Diana, Adalind took Kelly from Nick, all that was left to do was convince Renard that his move with BC was a bad choice.
They could have jumped off the BC wagon and played at being Grimm allies until the threat was gone. Actually, unless Adalind questioned BC’s ability to win, she would have been better off as a loyal member of the winning side.
So what went wrong? Adalind lacked follow through?
