Both of those couples have shown they are deeply in love with each other. In the face of danger Juliette and Rosalee have stood by their partners.Choices depend on a person’s priority. Nick seems to be the only priority in your examples. Why the crap would Rosalee and Monroe put Nick’s needs above the safety of their children? Other than they’re stupid, or following the leader of their cult? Juliette made her choice, being with Nick was more important than being safe or having a normal life. But Juliette didn’t have children to be affected by her choices. Like Nick said, he and Juliette had a chance for a normal life and chose not to take it.
The point is Nick and Adalind do not have a do or die relationship. That means either one could change their feelings for any number of reasons. People say Adalind left to protect her kids. Rosalee knows she is pregnant and knows they are in danger. But she is not running off. WE have an episode coming up where Monroe will put himself in danger knowing he is the father of Triplets. If Rosalee can stand up to danger with Triplets then so could Adalind. Rosalee proves Adalind running off was a lack of confidence and not to protect her kids.
Who does Adalind lack confidence in? Nick? I didn’t get that impression, but it makes sense she would after he waved off her concern that Renard knew where Diana was and would use the child to coerce her. Nick’s a big boy, and has been a Grimm for over fives years, surely he doesn’t need the women in his life to keep him safe. That’s some kind of hero.
You've made the comment before that Juliette has risked her life for Nick but Adalind hasn't. Just what is it you think a woman should be willing to do to prove her love and loyalty to her man? Does Nick, or is it all men, not have any obligation to prevent their dangerous lifestyle from harming the women and children.
