If the show wasn’t purposely avoiding the subject, Renard would have challenged that she’s playing house with a man who helped take Diana when Adalind challenged his sincerity in raising Kelly as his own. He would have asked Adalind if she was naïve enough to believe Nick didn’t know HW had their daughter. But other than the brief Nick/Renard conversation over Renard having Kelly, Nick’s role in kidnapping Diana hasn’t been brought up.
So far, Nick/Adalind is only possible because Adalind doesn't question anything she doesn't want the answer to.
