Hi, Lou. What I was talking about when Catherine and Sean were in their scene together at her house; the one before Adalind runs to her Mom's house after losing her powers. It was a rather short scene and when she hands the small black object to him the exchange was very near the bottom of the screen. Think he accepts it and puts it down on the coffee table. It's the same scene where Catherine seems to intimate they had a past history and he sort of rejects her by saying he could still have fun when he wanted to.
I acknowledged that H's and Z's do seem to have more physical strength that humans (didn't write it very clearly, though), and meant that Renard didn't seem to have any additional Zauberbiest powers. He seems to be fighting his wesen side to me. Even when he's alone he seems to struggle to keep it from surfacing. But he's only half a Zauberbiest, so maybe it doesn't figure into his existence in the way being a full-wesen would.
You have commented often about the beautiful homes used in the series, and I've been struck by how gorgeous they are, too. I always notice them - even the buildings they use are exceptional (i.e. the Police Bureau inside and out) and go along with the storybook feel of Portland.
