Juliette was unhappy when she found out she was a hexenbiest. Part of that was due to it being a side effect but I also think a good deal was due to Nick himself. She was clearly afraid Nick would kill her once he found out. Regardless of how viewers look at the relationship, they were still together at that time. He's upset about what's happened to her and as she sees his affect, it upsets her even more.
