In other words working out the wesen of the week might take place over several episodes as a case is solved, so at any time you might have multiple wesen threads dangling. Also reusing a wesen is an intelligent thing to do.
I will say, the various tease clips have revealed to me, David Giuntoli, to be a much better actor than was displayed previously. He always seemed over shadowed by what amounted to the strong character actors on the show. In these select scenes his strength as an actor is allowed to come forth.
Personally I like the wesen of the week format, I would just like to see them extend over a period of time instead of being wrapped up in a single episode, perhaps allowing us to see the individuality even among a sect of wesen.
I like when they did two different story lines about a ziegevolk. In one he is a B&B operator who drugs women to impregnate them. Another was a lawyer who tried to sway a jury. Showing you different ways that "undue influence" can manifest itself. Finding a ziegevolk who uses his powers for "good" might be an interesting twist on the species.
