If Kelly was in her first trimester when her husband and best friend were killed, the child would be close to twenty years of age. If it were a daughter, she would likely know she is a Grimm, if she is one. Basing this premise on Nick being about 32 now.
Imo, the idea is just as plausible as Kelly coming back to life for these reasons:
l. Nick was 12 years of age when he lost his parents. He has stated that he remembers everything about that night, but didn't seem to remember Kelly's friend visiting the family, but that is what the show's writer's invented in order to introduce Kelly into the story. We suspended disbelief on that notion; I know I did, but it stuck with me that Nick didn't seem to have a memory of that.
2. My impression of Kelly is that she always did love her son, and let him believe she was dead to protect him and is very, very filled with remorse that she had to make that decision.
3. Assuming that is true, she would also love the second child of her dead husband, and could conceivably have dropped out of sight for the time it took to have the baby. And either raised it in secret or placed it up for adoption, or even given it over to some trusted people to grow up with and still continued to be a part of its life occasionally. This strategy would, if successful, keep the Verratt and other enemies from knowing of the existence of her child.
Nick is going to need all the allies he can get for the coming fight with the royals and they seem to be stepping up the action. Another Grimm in the family (three of them - dynasty!) would be a needed asset. But for all that, I cast my vote for Nick being an only child.
