Oh, I think he found it suspicious, he just chose not to ask her about it....which is just bizarre and, frankly, out of character. There were many things that Nick should have picked up on or DID pick up on and didn't ask Juliette about:
1 - Her sudden change in behavior
2 - Her nausea and headaches (makes me wonder if the first time he heard that she thought she was pregnant was when she woged)
3 - The peppermill in the middle of the kitchen that inexplicable fell off the counter and hit Juliette's head.
4 - Finding her at the trailer, researching hexenbiests and acting squirelly about it
5 - Her avoidance of his affections
6 - Her claim that he could no longer protect her and she would have to do it herself.
7- And, of course, the ferocious manticore dead on the living room floor....who just happened to "miss."
I do think he noticed all of these things and just didn't say anything, which speaks volumes about how good their relationship actually was.
