And, remember the biology lesson that Monroe and Rosalee gave Nick and Hank regarding the off-spring of Wesen and non-Wesen. The kids were either Wesen or they weren't--they weren't half-Wesen.
But Hexen/Zauberbiester may have different 'rules' from other Wesen. We've had no hint that someone born human can become any other kind of Wesen other than Hexen/Zauber. And you'll note that only half of Sean's face turns into a rotting corpse when he Wolges. (But he did say, "I'm a Zauberbiest," without adding something like ". . . and a half-breed at that," Read into that what you will.)
Our Zauberbiest sample is, I agree, too small. However, we haven't seen that Sean has teleknisis or any of the other special powers. He does know a little about Zaubertraunken, at least enough to realize what Adalind had done and how to counter it, but we don't know if he can compound. However, Adalind was able to compound even after Nick took her powers away, so that may only require knowledge. Perhaps in Hexenbiest culture boys aren't normally taught such things.
Sean does seem to have a touch of Henrietta's ability to manipulate other people's emotions; that's what makes him such a good police officer--I bet before he went into administration he was good at extracting confessions.
Anent the WoW, using the hormone injection to fix the WoW in male form--he can't even seem to wodge any more either--not only fits into the Grimm tradition of killing this creature in the male form, but also will help process him through the ordinary courts. Linus can be listed as a transvestite, which if not quite the truth is close enough.
