That all changed a couple months before Diania was born she finally started showing feelings for her unborn child like when she was rubbing the hexen gel into stomach and saying mama. Adalind became a loving mother the moment Diania was born and from that day to this day her children always mattered most to her. So while agree that season 2 and early season 3 Adalind dersverd to have her child taken for its own protection as the mother didn’t appear to give a crap about the baby. In late season 3 though Adalind certainly didn’t derserve to lose her child as she was a loving Mother. The saddest scene in the whole series for me is her crying in the street after Diania is taken. To be fair Nick and the gang didn’t realize have much Adalind had changed and thought they were doing the right thing though I still think it’s pretty disgusting what they did to Adalind by taking Diania like that.
I agree with rest your post though well thought out.
If I came across as being harsh, because she wasn’t a great gal to that point and as far as her track record went, she deserved what she got. Yes, that scene was a sad situation, but a deserved situation given how she had conducted herself to that point.
The point I was trying to make was not so much as being happy for what she deserved but more of a justification of anyone in the gang to come to her aid and support. My point is why, my main MAN, is being singled out for not being noble. Without going into all the details of her transgressions, mainly to Nick.
WTF should he owe her any loyalty to her or for her to keep her child, when the father of the child was the key player in the con job, and his boss. Nick wasn’t present at her trials and tribulations, while she was expecting and getting back her Hex. This is another situation of, what we know, is not what the character knew, in this case, Nick.
So, in replying to this accusation of Nick’s nobility, is pure hog-wash. Like I posted on my previous post, At this time in her life, what had she done to prove to all the people involved she was becoming what we finally saw, and I totally supported, in S5 & 6 and after she lost Diana in S4. Again, what we saw, was not what the gang saw. They still saw this out-of-control un-symphatetic Hex that did not deserve to be a mother. They still knew the Adalind that went to Europe, not what she was starting to become, A loving and supporting mother.
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
