Any honest read of the cast would tell you ALL of them wanted to move on with their careers and do something else. If you read the various interviews with that in mind it rather leaps out at you. This cast was appreciative of their fans and would never just be blunt in how they said it, but it is there.
I would think if you had any regard for the actors and actresses behind the characters you would want them to go on and explore that next horizon.
And to top it off, the creative team said they ran out of ideas and they not only wanted to move on, they did move on.
In the end, it is bitter sweet. I would offer this perspective, that of a parent who's child had grown and is leaving the nest. Your diligence in watching the show is what allowed the cast to truly launch their careers. The opportunists in front of them are a result of Grimm. And you gave them that chance. I would think you might want to watch them prosper in their future endeavors and enjoy the memories on DVD.
