One of my favorites because of how Juliette slaps, bites and pistol whips Renard, then pumps five bullets from his service revolver into the ceiling. Probably had him reconsidering his decision to drop by to see her.
But then, both of his women dissed him in this episode; Adalind by patronizingly thanking him for the night before as she left his apartment. Wonder how the rest of his week went.
Nick finds out Renard is a wesen and the after-effects of Adalind's spell are finally neutralized, whew. I remember laughing at the torture Sean went through when he had to take the purification potion, including fairly bouncing off the walls and breathing black smoke, so Nick had a pretty benign reaction, all things being equal. Just as has been mentioned here, must have been because he was such a standup guy to start with, but the Captain, oh, my. Anyway, a pox and a hex on all spells requiring a pure heart; they're murder to reverse!
Wu was uncharacteristically serious in the scene at Nick and Juliette's house, and it was kind of nice to see how tactful and concerned he was and how he assured Nick the police report would be handled, and how Nick acknowledged his loyalty with the pat on the arm. Wu doesn't get enough recognition so that was good and he's such a cut-up it's easy to miss his compassionate side.
Monroe delivered some very funny lines, but the priceless expressions on Silas' face are what really puts them over, imo.
Enjoyed this one alot.
