Would you put up with yourself as Nick, cold and aloof? How about keeping her around and being dishonest with her about how your mindset is now completely different? Or would you have done the smart and adult thing and set her free?

(laughs). She sat around the fome all day with a healthy newborn, which is by no means a handicap at all. As for going to work she came to work for a total of what? One week? I remember posters criticizing the fact that they did not want to see Adalind doing the little woman chores of changing a Kelly's diaper or feeding him because it's boring and it's a big duh.

Adalind didn’t stick her nose in were it didn’t belong or demand to know what Nicks doing at every waking moment or check his emails without permission or regulary accuse him of cheating on her.
You are kidding right? Adalind was on tenderhooks with Nick. She's not going to be whiny or demanding because she'd be thrown out of the fome if she was. As for being the big help behind the gang, she was the one who turned herself in to Bonaparte instead of standing by her man. Even Rosalee and Monroe were appalled that she went to Renard so easily. With Kelly. So please don't pawn her off as some great help to the scoobies. She ran for cover the minute she felt she was in danger and left great and wonderful Nick behind.

You hated her guts henry. You always have. And really, that's okay.

For me anyway, Juliette never felt content as the little woman waiting for her man to come home. I wish the show had allowed her to become an independent Hexenbiest ‘fighting for the greater good’ without making her a raging mess of emotions who had to be put down like a rabid dog then neutered into an obedient soldier, but the Eve debacle aside, Juliette seemed much more content with herself in S6 than she had in four seasons as Nick’s live-in girlfriend. I got the impression that it was Nick, not Juliette, who had trouble accepting she could be happy without a man in her life.
I can't say that I agree with this simply because the character of Juliette was never allowed to be a mother, even in her job. She was a veterinarian, but how often did we ever get to see her be a veterinarian? She treated a horse, and Adalind's cat. The show gave her zero chance to deal with children with their pets or people dealing with the loss of their beloved pet. She was never given a family to speak of and certainly never shown dealing with one. So in all fairness to Juliette, she was never given the chance to show motherly skills.
