Nick killing Wesen had nothing to do with research or the lack of it. He killed Wesen that committed crimes. Remember the "Homicide Detective" part of his job? Some Wesen that did not go willing with him when he tried to arrest them. When they resisted with deadly force he responded with the same. WTF was he supposed to do, let them run or let them kill him? Lets say there were a few "questionable Wesen demise killed by Nick for pure hate of being Wesen. Can any of these contributors name one? An episode?
Only a quack could watch 6 seasons of the show and make up such a conclusion. Did he kill without due process? Yea, I called it "Self Defense" Did he kill Kenneth? Last tie I looked, he wasn't Wesen, he was a Royal and well deserved it. If someone whats to get off at watching corrupt cops, they are barking up the wrong tree by watching Grimm. If that's what tickles their fancies, try watching "Person of Interest".
