So…I think her statement to Nick about Kelly "protecting" Diana alludes to this. For Adalind and what she wanted no, Kelly wasn't helping but for keeping Diana our of Royal hands, she would bite her words and be gracious towards her with Nick.

I'm pretty darned sure that had 100% bearing on the decision, plus remember what Kelly said to Nick that Diana's life would have either great potential for good or great potential for evil depending on where and by whom she would be raised. That everyone readily scurried Diana out of Portland to protect themselves from the Royals in S3, when Adalind wasn’t Nick’s love interest, flies in the face of everyone pledging their lives to protect Diana from Zerstörer in S6, when Adalind was Nick’s love interest. Renard handed Diana to Kelly because it benefited him. When having Diana with him was beneficial, he allowed a vicious faction to bring her into their dangerous plans.
Kelly, alone, made the decision that she was the only person who could influence Diana in the right direction. Diana was kidnapped four times in less than three years, and the only influence she exhibited when rejoining Adalind in S5 was that of a child desperate not to lose her mother again.

She also referenced her mother’s death, and Nick’s mother killed Adalind’s mother. It’s not that I don’t think she cared at all, but rather, I think Adalind’s upset over Kelly’s death was because her being alive would mean the Royals didn’t have Diana. Adalind wouldn’t be better off, but Kelly was desirable over the Royals. Plus, the last thing Adalind needed was for Nick to be further emotionally compromised by his mother’s death.(10-29-2017, 11:16 AM)Robyn Wrote: I saw Juliette’s concern for Kelly to be much like Adalind’s. Both women had agendas that didn’t require Kelly’s demise, but neither cared about her safety either.
Robyn, Adalind actually did not seem to like Kelly's death she actually consoled nick about her death she didn't look happy Kelly had died she was more upset than I thought she'd be.
