Nick didn't have any friends before he became a Grimm, lol. He was even more boring than he is now.
Quote:That’s interesting. I commented in the Bad Night thread that the two events mirrored one another. But according to G & K, Adalind’s second pregnancy was last minute, so the twist wasn’t planned back in S3.
Thanks, and you're right. It wouldn't have been planned in season 3.
But this brings up a dilemma that occurred to me. Nick told Adalind no one would take Kelly away from her. Yet he's trying to get Kelly back without mention of wanting Adalind back. It almost sounds like he's going back on his word.

Good should not have to equal boring. I didn’t like the idea of Nick/Adalind, especially just because she was pregnant. But after watching their interaction in the later part if S4, I thought it might be fun to watch them attempt to cohabitate without killing each other.
But Adalind lost her spunk and snarky speak. Instead of Nick becoming more interesting and fun to watch as he interacts with Adalind, the show has dulled Adalind to bring her down to Nick’s level.
So now I’ve hoping that Adalind interacting with Renard will bring back her spunk and snarky speak. I hate to think that Adalind’s personality was suppressed along with the Hexenbiest and only the Hexenbiest came back.
I really think it all comes down to Nick. He's so boring it rubs off on the women he lives with.
That aside, all it would have taken would be for the creative team to actually write some interesting dialogue for the two of them. Adalind started talking about her dad during one episode. We got two sentences and that was the end of it. I would have liked to have known more.
i had thought that by saying family they meant adalind and kelly, so they are his family now
