The structure of the story was a little too on-the-nose for me this week. 12 pieces of silver? Hanging yourself for your betrayal? Also the whole crew seemed to be very critical or at least jovial about religion...even Wu, and 90% chance he's Catholic if he grew up in the Philippines. I imagine that stems from the writers themselves, who seemed to have very little understanding of Christian theology and how sins work - you cant just suck them up and flush them down the drain like that
I really liked the end part with the letters and the scientist - wish they had given more development to that this episode. Why wouldn't a Mesopotamian archaeologist be able to at least give them a rough translation of Latin or Aramaic? And since when is Rosalie an ancient polyglot? Also, assuming its meant to be a 1st-Century artifact, Latin had already developed a full "R" separate from "P" (or Rho, more accurately) for hundreds of years. Eg: INRI, SPQR.
I'm glad they played the Not Sean-Rachel scene for laughs instead of having Eve just go through with it to prove how few F's she gives about anything but the mission, that woulda been creepy on many levels. The fact that Sasha can mimic Bitsie so well just by being wooden is kinda telling of all the problems she had being Juliette
