That seems like the most logical explanation. She allowed her Hex-impulses to be manipulated by a slimy creep, got mixed up with a bad crowd, made the worst mistake of her life, and went home to face Nick's judgement. She could no longer pin any of the consequences on Nick. Kelly's murder was entirely her fault this time.
I don't know why Juliette didn't simply say "I'm sorry," even if that wouldn't have stopped Nick from attempting to strangle her. It's unclear who was talking to Nick by that point; the old Juliette, or the Hexenbiest.
I was thinking about Juliette's fight with Nick in the finale. Nick did not know Trubel had entered the room because his back was to her. Juliette was facing Trubel and would have had to have seen her with the crossbow. As a Hexenbiest, she easily could have simply gotten out of the way or used the crossbow to kill Trubel or Nick. Instead she took the arrows. Do you think that could have been her way of apologizing?
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
