I keep trying to think how Adalind acted before, and she was a bit dark until she lost her hexenbiest and became human. The one thing that really changed her was Diana though. All her actions since then were about getting Diana back even her bad acts so I don't consider her a true villain anymore. Now this new baby sets Juliette on the dark path. Maybe something needs to happen that connects Juliette with her human side like Diana did for Adalind.
I posted one idea a couple of weeks ago that had Juliette's father becoming involved. Considering the show's so squarely focused on how Juliette's transformation has been affecting her relationship with Nick, we need to see how her doting parents have responded to this bizarre change in their daughter's personality.
Maybe Juliette's Dad manages to track down her new cell number after she's eloped to Vienna with Kenneth, and rings her in the hope of figuring out what the hell's going on. Juliette is about to hang up on him, when he drops a bombshell: Her mother is gravely ill. Pancreatic cancer. He begs Juliette to come home, then ends the call.
Is that along the lines of what you were suggesting?
Yes. It is. I'm thinking that like Diana did for Adalind, Juliette needs something to bring out her human side. It could be something regarding her family, could even be something Nick related like his mom coming back, could be something Monroe or Rosalee related, it just needs to remind her of who she was before. Juliette is connected to most of the characters on a human level, and maybe when one of the people she cares about is threatened or hurt it brings out the same kind of feelings that Diana did for Adalind. Before Diana was born, Adalind still wasn't thinking solely as a mother. But after she held the baby, that changed. Juliette needs a similar wake up moment.
If the catharsis were to be Nick involved, like someone else coming close to doing what she says she wants to do, IE kill him, it might put the show back at square one with a stronger team. Still there would be the problem with her and Sean having to admit what they did and Nicks reaction, if like someone else suggested they did anything, so far it has been smoke and mirrors when we know the show has no problem showing a couple in bed under covers.
If I had something important to say, I would have mumbled it.
