I think it's more of a case of the majority of GRIMM's writers being men. That's not to say all male writers are given to portraying women as egocentric shrews, but I do feel there's a subtle misogyny often at work in many contemporary TV shows and movies. Maybe some of these guys have been burned in relationships before, I don't know. But it wouldn't be a stretch for them to project that negativity into their scripts.
On the other hand, it HAS been confirmed Juliette's behavior is also being more and more influenced by her Hexenbiest temperament, so that should be taken into account too.
I felt that the episode last night gave us a little more of Nick fighting for Juliette and yes her behavior is influenced by HexB temperament but the bar scene was a cliche. I like that Adaline has baby Grimm does that mean we have HexB Grimm powered bambino? Could be fun. I bet Juliette is preggers with Chief Renard baby??
