For some reason Hermit singing "It's Not Easy Being Green" pops into my mind. Bella looks scaly and bumpy, but still lovely somehow. Well, they said there may be after affects and it might not end there. Three more weeks and she may develop suction cups on her hand and feet. And not to put too fine a point on things, but I kept thinking goldfish when she woged. That is the most cartoony wesen I can remember, but very good.
See, this scene is just another example of what Nick and Juliette should be TRYING to do with their relationship. Bella's new boyfriend accepts her deformity with such amazing ease, it makes the earlier sequence of Nick's discomfort around Juliette look positively pathetic in comparison. (Then again, Bitsie has confirmed in an interview her character was being influenced by her new witchy disposition, so that didn't help matters, either.)
This is why I'm inclined to believe Juliette will remain a Hexenbiest for the duration of the show, but she and Nick will eventually be drawn together again. Of course, you know what they say about assuming anything...
I go back and forth about this change in N and J's relationship. I feel that Nick could get over Juliette's woge appearance faster than the change in her worldview. Both of them would have to make enormous allowances for the other; just as difficult for one as the other. To a point of having to smother one's real self in order to stay in the relationship. Not so sure that's a good idea for either of them. Hope for them getting back together is hard to maintain for me at this point.
If somehow Juliette evolves into a less generally angry-at-the-world wesen/person and adopts a tolerance, if not an willingness, for playing well with others (maybe something like Renard), things could work out between them. But one thing that I've observed about all the Hexenbiests and Zauberbiests on Grimm is that none of them has ever been shown to be in a lasting relationship; mostly they seem to be on their own by choice.
In spite of all my concerns, I'm pulling for them to end up together. It would sure jar my world if this breakup is permanent!
