I hope they downplay the "Wesen of the Week" format this season, just to allow the recurring characters more time to develop and shine.

I think from a continuity standpoint they should make this more like a real life police drama. In other words working out the wesen of the week might take place over several episodes as a case is solved, so at any time you might have multiple wesen threads dangling. Also reusing a wesen is an intelligent thing to do.
I will say, the various tease clips have revealed to me, David Giuntoli, to be a much better actor than was displayed previously. He always seemed over shadowed by what amounted to the strong character actors on the show. In these select scenes his strength as an actor is allowed to come forth. Personally I like the wesen of the week format, I would just like to see them extend over a period of time instead of being wrapped up in a single episode, perhaps allowing us to see the individuality even among a sect of wesen.

Another was a lawyer who tried to sway a jury. Showing you different ways that "undue influence" can manifest itself. Finding a ziegevolk who uses his powers for "good" might be an interesting twist on the species.

Dana Barrett: I am The Gatekeeper!

I don' think they need new wesen each week (species wise) then can run into different specimens who display a variety of behaviors as they meld into the human world. Monroe is a great example.

I'd love to see an episode about a serial killer who's not only fully aware of the Wesen world, but knows the behavior pattern of each species to such an extent that he's able to exploit it to his advantage. He's the sort of cunning SOB who can actually turn a Hexenbiest's treacherous nature against her.
