Drew.
Really enjoyed the episode, but the thing that stuck out like a sore thumb was Juliette's shift in response to what happened, she changed her apparent attitude so fast I think I got whiplash!!! That aside, I was on the edge of my seat when Wu and Hank were chatting, I think in the hospital, and Hank almost got to start 'preparing' Wu for the truth before being interrupted .
I agree with wfmyers1207 that they did try to cram too much into this episode, I would have had the majority of the episode concentrated on the fallout and then presented the new mind sucking wesen's opening scene as a tag at the end of the episode. Someone amongst this threads contributors wondered what Nick would do once he confronts Adalind. Given Juliette's sudden change and the very brief snippet from next weeks preview (granted I could be taking the delivered line out of context) I'm wondering more what Juliette is likely to do to her. I've never made it a secret Juliette is not my favorite character, not the actresses faulty just the less than stellar writing she has received, but I think her change in temperament may portend a more proactive and assertive character, someone capable of taking control of her life (less whining more hitting), and my hope is she get's to deal with Adalind on a permanent way, some serious girl on girl action.
Doctor: You betrayed me … betrayed my trust. You betrayed our friendship, you betrayed everything that I’ve ever stood for. You let me down!
Clara: Then why are you helping me? Doctor: Why? Do you think I care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?

After a long time of waiting Grimm is finally back. The episode was just awesome but i really hope Nick gets to be grimm again or at least use some of his "zombie skills" because it feels weird watching him not being wesen ass kicking badass

Still you just know people will shorten a longer name and you need to take that into account when naming a baby. Heck, my name is a whole 4 letters long and people try to shorten it

This was a very good start for season 4, I enjoyed it!

Hope Nick and his group stop him. But the company is based in Portland, so hope it's not GQR Industries who's buying the product. I wonder who the Gedächtnis-Esser "probed" first? He said to Slocombe that a "Danny Rivera" had a terrible accident, I guess it was him. The computer guy who wondered why Slocombe was downloading all that stuff was a Kent Vickers, I worry for him. The monster's employer has his office in Seattle, right? I'm not too familiar with skylines. (10-26-2014, 07:16 AM)speakeasy Wrote: Anyone spot the Easter egg, I didn't.Neither did I. He's wanting to cover up the fact that the rogue FBI agent Steward(?) was working with him so the King wouldn't find out because he loves both of his sons, Eric and Renard. I think this is going to be interesting. The FBI are investigating and they are on the right path. Once the FBI knows Steward's connection to Viktor, I'm sure Renards father will find out too. He has his own NSA for sure . And then may God have mercy upon Viktor. I won't miss him. Juliette was probably just shocked in the season's finale episode. She knows who's responsible and I'm really looking forward to the day when she and Adalind may meet again. I heared Juliette say "I swear to god, I'm going to find her and I..." That's the spirit! I like the new angry Juliette. Good thing is Wu didn't look like loosing his mind again, did he?

Quote:Oh, you know what I'm a little disappointed with: Shouldn't there be a new intro every season? or did they change it just a little bit and I didn't notice? I think WE NEED a new intro. @Lou, I re-watched the episode last night and because of this question I tried to pay more attention to the intro. Looks like they've made some changes for this season. I saw a shot of the trailer in it's new home and one of the Aswang. There might be other changes, but those are the two I caught. So really Nick will have to see that side too. What she doesn't know she can't be made to tell; we know that the Royals are not above using torture. Think you're right that about Danny being the first victim, Gretel, because I watched it again and it looked like the Gedachtnis-Esser was scanning Danny's memories when he was standing outside of Dr. Slocombe's house. Most probably the monster's employer is in Seattle, because he came to Portland from somewhere else. And the monster, aka Dr. Lawrence Anderson, said he only had one more target to get the complete package for their customer and wrote down that one line of code from Slocombe's memory to show good faith. I missed Kent's last name, but from what you say, he's the final link. Hopefully the gang will put him out of commission before he gets to him!
