izzy that is an idea that is long gone. There was a time when a woman only option was to marry well. You like me are are from a time where living together was called trial marriage. Remember when Murphy Brown intentionally became a single working mother and that was cutting edge. There was a time when kids from a broken home would not talk about it. It is now kids that are not from a broken home are viewed as strange. Not once has Adalind indicated that she expects Sean to accept Kelly has his. It seems she is upset that Sean is claiming Kelly. Both Adalind and Juliette have the attitude that sex is a recreational activity. They show even makes jokes about the old ideas of kids an marriage, when Adalind meets her co-worker on the street. To show the new social attitude, Adalind takes Kelly to work with her without it being seen as strange. There is nothing I can see that Adalind being a single mother with two kids in any way is limiting her options.
