Reggie Lee (Sgt. Wu) is from The Philippines and he convinced the writers to make a Wesen based on the Manananggal creature of Filippino mythology! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manananggal) Tonight is a big night for Sgt. Wu in other ways, too. He gave away a couple spoilers in a radio interview this morning: http://keyw.com/wesen-uses-its-tongue-to-eat-a-fetus-on-nbcs-grimm-interview/ My favorite bit is how Pip's Original in Portland named a doughnut after him (The "Dirty Wu" because of the carpets -- it's cinnamon sugar with sea salt... mmm)
