Which of the main characters on the show would you consider the most vile and unredeemable by thier actions throughout the show from start to finish.

Renard schemed against all of the other characters, always plotting and betraying without regret. He had associates, no friends. "Which side is he on, and how many sides does he have?"

Without a doubt, Nick.

Did Nick ever uses his corruption to increase his wealth no Nick just helped people and put down bad wesen. Renard is one of the most corrupt police officers in tv history yet somehow Nick is worst really.

Henry, did you or did you not post this thread and ask for opinions on who is the most vile character?

There is really only one character who acted primarily out of self-interest ambition and that was Renard. But you could even see how his character was shaped by things that had been done to him and his mother in his childhood.

One of the good things about Grimm's characters was that they had enough depth that you could imagine yourself in their place and understand why they thought that what they were doing was justified. I hate it when "bad guys" basically just proclaim to the world that they do what they do because they really enjoy being bad guys.

Careful folks. Best you vote instead of posting your choice. Based on what you choose in a posts not only tells us who you think is the most vile. It also reflects/exposes your personality traits! Remember, these are fictional characters. You (plural) aren't!. Supposedly

I chose Renard. He did the most and got away with all of it.

How some people can say they hate Nick for being corrupt yet constantly defend Renard is strange to me Renards brand of corruption is far worse than Nicks. The Worst thing Nick ever done as a cop is kill Kenneth, Renard does that sort of thing on a regular basis. He murders his own family members for crying out loud. He also had Rachel’s poor Assstiant murderd after he made a pathetic attempt to black mail Renard. Renard willingly went along with Black Claw even after learning they murdered an innocent Andrew Dixon in order to put Renard in his place. He knew BC fixed the election in his favor and went along with that and proudly said to Nick him and BC were going to make a more violent and primitive world and that all wesen that don’t join them will die.

He took adavantage of a vunrable Juliette in season 4 got her to open the hexen book, he then give her a quick shag and threw her out and told her were the Mother of his child Adalind was and that it was a great idea for Juliette to Murder her.

From the pilot Renard was a corrupt cop and that’s probably how he became captain in the first place, he was shown to be responsible for sending Adalind Schade to kill Marie Kessler in the hospital

Bears Will Be Bears He met with Adalind Schade and told her to send more people to kill Marie. He then removed the police guard.

In Last Grimm Standing Renard talks to Leo Taymor the leader of the Löwen Games as if they had known each other in times long past. Renard is angry that Taymor has been using unsanctioned kidnapped Wesen to use for his gladiatorial fights. meaning he sanctions people to die in the games and he gets a cut of the profits. He clearly had a number of criminal rackets going throughout the city which is probably why he murderd Taymor after he gianed too much attention from the police he wanted to protect his other rackets so had Taymor taken out.

Island of Dreams Renard asks how it has been going with Hank. Adalind says Hank is not interested in her. Renard hands over a vial of blood saying Hank just had his physical. Renard tells Adalind to do whatever it takes to make Hank like her. Knowing what ever it takes would kill Hank. He literally whores Adalind out to Hank in order to get the key he clearly knows what spell Adalind is planning as he gives her the blood. This is a guy who is piad to run the police department and look after his officers and dectivies yet he’s plotting deadly schemes agianst them to get himself more power.

In Love sick we find out the reason Adalind is doing all this stuff for Renard is because of a dept her mother owes to Renard and beacuse of the affection she has for Renard . Renards sleeping with Adalind and Catherine. Then when Adalind loses her powers They both abandon Adalind with Renard telling her she is now useless to him.

There is even a deleted scene in season 1 of Renard meeting with the scumbag ogre that tried to kill Hank and during the meeting it’s hinted he done jobs for Renard in the past. Thought he warns him to leave hank alone it’s suggested the two worked togther in the past.

In love sick, Renard murders his cousin and his bodyguard at a meeting and covers up both thier deaths to make it look like they shot each other.
