Differences/Similarities between Angel and Grimm - wesen - 10-02-2017

I read that Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt were involved with the show Angel, so I decided to watch it a little bit. I'd already seen the first season back when it originally aired on tv, but I just lost interest and never kept up with the show. After watching some of the episodes and did some wiki reading, I noticed that there were quite a few similarities between Nick and Angel. Besides a fondness for wearing black leather jackets, their brooding mannerisms are rather alike. Also, super ageing babies was also used for both shows, and the women also switched from bad to good and vice versa. What I liked about Grimm though was the setting in Portland was much more beautiful and really fantastic, the premise more interesting (fairy tale twist), and I thought the actors had better chemistry with each other overall. Also, one huge difference of course was that Angel was darker and didn't really have a happy ending, unlike in Grimm. I like more uplifting stories so i preferred the Grimm finale more.
