How Long Did Adalind and Kelly stay with Renard? - wesen - 09-21-2017

Adalind and Kelly were with Renard from the day of the mayoral election until sometime in the second week of the following January (the date of episode 601 was 6 January as seen on Renard's phone, and 603 when Adalind brings the kids to the Spice Shop appeared to be no more than a few days after that).
In real life Portland, our mayor was elected on 17 May 2016 and took office 1 Jan 2017. They probably intended to approximate those real dates, because 520 aired 13 May 2016 and when 601 and 602 were shot we were on the set dressed for fall and Renard is still captain and not the mayor yet.
So if the season premiere had been at the usual end of Oct, Adalind and the kids would have been in Conrad's house from May until Oct, about five months. But when the season premiere was pushed back to 6 Jan they changed the date shown on Renard's phone to match, which means Adalind and the kids were there for almost eight months.
And they just chose to ignore the fact that by the time 601 aired Renard should already have been mayor and Kelly should have been sitting up, crawling and trying to stand up.

Face, please correct me if I am wrong. Sean never actually took office. Nick’s morphing into him derailed it. He was Mayor-Elect but was never sworn into office, was he?

Right. He was mayor-elect and still captain.
If the season had started as usual, Renard's phone would have displayed a date in Oct, before the 1 Jan swearing in date. As it was, they just had to ignore the real swearing in date.

I will say they were gone for a few days, couple of weeks at the most but due to filming schedule being pushed back, everything is out of whack when you consider the mayoral race, and when they had to swear Renard in. There's a determined time frame and then there was the March 24th date for Zerstörer that they had to meet as well. Rosalee should have have had her babies by the time the show ended but she was barely visibly pregnant.

The hiatus breaks essentially don't exist because there's no passage of time between them. OTOH, they use dates on the screen that are close to the anticipated air dates and dress the cast for the corresponding seasonal weather.
I think it's just something they do to mess with your head.

IMO this was not even considered by the writers. As has been said, little Kelly was still in the crib when all these clues indicated he should have been walking. Of course, if he had developed like Diana, he would be writing his thesis on the development of ancient Greek.

Since the writers don't seem to have a coherent timeline, I'll just stick with the few weeks theory, since as others have pointed out, Kelly hasn't grown yet and Rosalee's stomach is still flat.

A COUPLE OF WEEKS MAX.
Adalind started living with him around the time he was elected. Nick got her back around a couple of days later. Adalind joined him towards the end of the mayoral race which would have been in May. Renard went after Nick and HW a couple of days later(About 2). A couple of days Later Nick transforms into Renard and strikes a deal.
Following these events it would have been around 2-3 Weeks.
Also Renard wasn't sworn in yet that would have happened at the end of 2016. His term would have began in 2017.

The time line above shows just how long Adalind was at the Mansion as you can see not very long at all basically just days rather than weeks . according to the timeline there is just about a week between bad nigth and my captain, Renard wasn’t Mayor elect for very long at all no wonder Black claw was pissed he must of had the shortest reign of any Mayor elect in history. The timeline does makes sense considering fugtive kicked off just minutes after Bonepartes death in the beginning of the end and a day tops before tie me knot.
