Discussion- Grimm comic issue #6 - FräuleinWunderlich - 10-27-2013 I´ve already the time to open a thread about the next "new" issue. After Nick is back from Europe to destroy the coins of Zakynthos he investigate on a new case about 3 missed Blutbadchildren and a boy which is a Peter Pan like Wesen called a Sorglosgör(unworried brat). It´s an Wesen that has the body of a child and the intelligence of an adult.Like the Fuchsteufelswild, he likes to play games. In this case the Sorglosgör named Peter and he takes kids from his home to a place he called Neverland. After this, Peter tries to blackmail the parents. Most of these kids, aren´t happy in her homes so that they more then less voluntarily decided to join Peter´s gang and don´t go back home when the ransom money is paid. Soon Peter knows that a Grimm is close on to him. With help from Juliette, Hank and Monroe Nick find out that Peter is a Sorglosgör. As he and Juliette get attacked by Peter´s gang it comes to the final fight. Then we see Peter jumping down with the words: "...because the dead is the biggest adventure of them all!" At th end we see a nice couple which will adopt an older child, the woman from the orphanage showing them a "special" child and we see Peter again. The inspiration of this story is pretty clear by Peter Pan.We see Juliette in comic for the first time. And also it´s a Wesenpremier. The Sorglosgör was not showing in the TV show yet. I like it that the story is closed such as in the show and that the case is based back in Portland. RE: Discussion- Grimm comic issue #6 - Gretel Hanselsister - 11-10-2013 I finally managed to get hold of #6 Really good synopsis! The Sorglosgör, Nick pities him for being caught between his childish body and his grown-up brain, but he's a killer. Did you see the three blood-covered bodies in the trees? (Quite a parallel to the recent episode S3E03.) They were the voluntary hostages from six years ago. Peter killed them, but why? They got too old for his taste, I think one of them was "Queen" of "neverland" before and he needed this position open for the new one. The children are Wendy, John, Michael: the writers really lack of fantasy . Unexpected and really good: there's no "to be continued..." in the end. It's a one-issue-story, I like that very much. Did they change the illustrator? The drawing was better in issue 1-5 (just my opinion ) All things considered: #6 is nice, I had fun reading |
