Do you see a change in Nicks and Monroe's relationship - jsgrimm45 - 03-05-2016

I think we are seeing a change in the relationship. They look to be getting more personal with the talks. Like the roof scene and the car scene they talk about other thing other than wesens. I will say it took long enough to get to this personal level.

Are they setting this up to help Rosalee and Adalind where the work together even if it off the books?

Nick lived with Monroe for a while when he was on the 'outs' with Juliette, and we've seen them watching TV together and just hanging out, so they have a friendship outside of cases--it just hasn't been explored because it wasn't plot-relevant. (Although Monroe did snap at Nick once for only coming to him when it was a case--that was partly Monroe taking his frustration with his current circumstances out, but Nick acknowledged that there was a bit of truth to it.)

But after all that they've been through together, they'd be either good friends or mortal enemies.

@elkhound. I'm with you on this one. I don't think things have changed all that much. They were having dinner together way back in S1 and like you said, they were roomies for a while.

The show just hasn't emphasized the relationship that much. Besides, after Rosalee became his girlfriend, Monroe probably had other things on his mind other than guy time! Big Grin

Which doubtless disappointed the slashers.

Hey Forum,
Do you remember this thread?
So when Nick and Hank abandoned Monroe leaving him alone and reeking from Parfum de la Mort, do you think Monroe will change how he feels about them?
IMO, they were total jerks!

That scene was for a laugh but came out as more of a smile. It might have been of on the funny side if Rosalee said I'm calling you a cab.

Why would a cab accept Monroe as a fare smelling the way he does? Any cabbie would want payment for a full valet and loss of earnings whilst the car is off road.

It was a nice night for a run. Leave the clothes somewhere, go wesen and run home.

You know we may be debating something that didn't happen we never seen what Nick or Hank really did. They could have been joking about calling Monroe a cab. They could have taken him home we don't really know.

u can get 90% info abt a person thru his non verbal expressions thus i dont think he was given a ride back home; but yes we didnt see what happened so cant judge
