Andrew Dixon the guy running for Mayor - jsgrimm45 - 12-14-2015 Andrew Dixon is the new guy running for mayor. What are we to make of him? After all he is showing up at a time where we should question any new character. Could he be the head of HW in Portland? Could he be the head of the wesen group in Portland? Does he want Renard as Chief of Police because he as HW head knows his connection to the resistance and wants him to bring them into fight against the group? Does he want Renard as Chief of Police because he wants Renard to join the group? Are there other reason for this character? Will Renard learn of this and if so what do we think he will do? I was concerned he would begin to refer to himself as "New Guy" in hopes he could coat tail me into the Mayor's office. So (IMO) he is seeking an endorsement by Royal Prince Captain Sean Renard because of of the way he motivated the citizens of Portland in 1.13, Three Coins. From NBC Recap: The captain is completely taken over by the power of the coins and has a vivid fantasy of himself greeting cheering throngs of people as their powerful leader. He shows up to work in full officer garb the following day and announces that he's holding a press conference on the present state of law enforcement. The speech is grandiose and impressive and viewed by the media as the potential jumping off point for a promising political career. You may recall the direct comparison to Hitler's speech.
