If they're laughing, it's on the way to the bank, eric. Shooting a show in the city can be a real boon to their economy. I know. It's happened here a few times. City officials were not only pleased but proud to show off the city.
I don't expect a documentary, and frankly I don't want one. I can watch them on television on any number of channels. What I am saying with Grimm is this. Grimm calls Nick a detective. He works in Portland. There's no other explanation about the force he works on outside of the little group he works with. Again, only speaking for myself, I can only assume he's an imaginary counterpart to a real life profession. That doesn't mean he does everything verbatim that a real life detective does. However, I would expect him to act like a detective, in other words, uphold the law.
Grimm could easily change that. If they want him to be corrupt so his Grimm activities are acceptable, all they have to do is show us that corruption is a part of this police force. They use it or whatever they have to in order to get the job done. It's an easily laid groundwork so then no one questions why Nick does what he does. He does it because it's the norm in this supernatural world.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
