Wesen nazis cost the show about 5% of its viewers. The numbers leveled off during the Nick and Juliette breakup and Jack the Ripper arcs. Then came the emergence of BC in the first half of S05, and by "Wesen Nacht" the show had lost another 24% of its viewers.
It might not have been BC that killed the show. BC might have been the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back. The last season of Grimm reminds me a lot of the old Star Trek series in its final season. Everyone was falling in love, everyone was dying, the crew was going back in time and coming back, Kirk turned into a woman, etc., etc., etc.
I was young at the time, so I didn't get the cancellation vibes in the wind like I do now when I watch those season 3 episodes. In fact, some of them are so dumb, I switch the channel now.
I think BC was a good concept, but like I said before, it would have been better if it had started in late season 1, early season 2. It would have went well with Nick, the new grimm. He could have resigned from copdom and fought the wesen full time.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
