Before, Nick, how many Grimms had Monroe met, and knew, and conversed with?I do not disagree that Monroe may actually believe the above statement. I also do not dispute that many wessen may have inaccurate beliefs about grimm. But the content of the statement (i.e., using the statement as truth) is BS. The purpose of that IMDB post is countless people have cited to other statements by characters from the pilot for "truth" (especially the "someone recently dying in your family" comment). I merely showed there is no truth in that statement or others.
My point being this: What Wesen believe to be true about Grimms may or may not necessarily actually be true, and vice versa.
Whether Monroe or some other wessen has inaccurate beliefs is not my concern. I, alas, have no powers to read minds, especially the minds of fictional characters.
However, this situation is a good one to highlight the dangers of using "hearsay" as proof/evidence. Just because someone says something, doesn't make it true. They could be lying or basing their statement on wrong facts/beliefs or other questionable hearsay.
