I agree, the conversation should be between Diana and Nick. What is Eve going to contribute to the conversation, "Sorry I betrayed the woman you consider to be your grandmother and helped kidnap you, let's be friends"?

It'd be interesting to hear just what kind of communication would take place between Nick and Diana:
Diana: "Why did I have to go with your mother?"
Nick: "Uh....um....yeah. My mother and.....um......yes, me.........thought it would be a good idea to take you from your mother.........because my mother could raise you better than she could......."
That ought to fly real well with Diana.

Nick makes it clear Adalind is a good mom to baby Kelly and Nick will not want to bring up Sean wanting to give the baby away either. Nick would sound that bad to Diana.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.

What I'm saying is that Nick should not be having any dialogue with Diana about the night Kelly was murdered. He can't explain away why Kelly took Diana from Adalind, who according to Nick, "is a good mother".

Agreed, Adalind should be able to talk to Diana about it.

If I was Nick, I'd probably want to mention the fact that a very bad man named Viktor was going to have Diana's mommy and daddy killed and they had to make him think nobody knew where she was. With any luck, maybe his mom already told her about that.

Exactly, and that would be a conversation I would tune in for!

I do not think Diana can understand. Childrens also always think their parents are the best. Better to say: she was in danger and he think that would be safe with Kelly.

The only problem with that is that Adalind then has to lie in order to agree with Nick. I don't think she's going to do that.
