Great episodes. A set of different writers and directors for each episode but it flowed seamlessly. Guess Meisner was the one talked about as the casualty of a cast member who's been there since the beginning. But I never considered him as one of the main cast.
Imo, Nick showed himself to be the leader and strategist of the gang from beginning to end of these episodes - hope that puts to rest questions about his intelligence, judgment, and ability to command top authority within his group. Points taken for his attacking Renard in the precinct, but I'm sure it was needed by the writers to put him in a holding cell.
The stick is supposed to possess great powers of good and evil. That's presumably why the original Grimm Knights hid it. I see big problems ahead. Looked like it actually brought Nick back from the dead. Nothing good will come of Diana being in its proximity, imo. In fact, don't know it there's room in Dodge for both her and the stick.
But it may have altered Eve's enhanced physiology somehow and restored her back to her original physical constitution. Also, after being saved by the stick's healing powers, Eve's hair is long and wavy, just like Juliette's back in the day. Eve has been seen with a shorter, more severe hair cut when not wearing wigs. Don't see any chance of her being reunited with Nick romantically, though, too much water under that bridge. But I'd be satisfied with just a sort of a self-sacrificial act to seek redemption before the show ends.
Wonder if the ring loses power now that Bonaparte is dead, because he was threatening the safety of the children with it. If not, here's hoping they don't have to do some weird ritual involving that hat again.
Diana is a child but she seems to be willingly following a destructive path. Those dolls looked like they came from the Amityville Toys R Us. (And, like how about those famous last words from Rachel: "children love me".)
A little levity came at an unexpected, but welcome, time when Adalind pushed Renard roughly away and said of course they were being acted upon by Diana - did he really think she would suddenly get so attracted to him that she would try to hop into bed with him? Laughed out loud when he stupidly uttered something like "Well, I am the mayor" - and she shot back that she didn't vote for him. Claire and Sasha played that scene with real comic flair.
Lucien may get the corner office now that snotty Bonaparte is gone. Because it's been emphasized many times how large this uprising is, so I don't see BC going away next season. Just looks like the Royals are going to have to be brought into this, for their global connections if for nothing else. They have a vested interest in not allowing a wesen take-over anyhow; they want to rule over them to restore their power, position and privilege. And that was a puny operation at HW if they were obliterated with that one attack; guess government funding cut-backs has come to Portland. Nick and company should contact every Grimm they can locate from that book and get them to help.
