I thought about what Eve did to Marwan. When on the ground she put him into a trance. That is the only reason he would have been unconscious that long. At the hospital she woke him up.
I can not see the stick being all good. There is some down side to explain why they hide it. The idea of religious reason works except I don't see it fitting into the show as a reason.
As I see the show going. Every thing is getting more extreme. What if the stick make the person stronger, even invincible. That would have been something to hide from your enemies. Sure it would help make your troops more powerful. But as the show has shown with power comes corrupt thinking. That is Adalind's fear, that is what happened to Juliette. That would not make a good out look for what is to come for Monroe. The writers did say it is a game changer and will continue to grow.
Timing is amazing Monroe gets bit, they find the stick just in time. Adalind mentions needing a dead Hexenbiest. Henrietta who's death made no sense, now has a reason. Are will that be one of the things episode after episode we scream at the TV. What about using Henrietta, as Nick and Adalind get more and more desperate.
