I heared "grundverschieden" (entirely different), then it does make sense.

That depends; how do the Wesen Council look at interbreeding? We already saw how Monroe's parent's acted. I think a physically healthy child that the wrong people didn't approve of would cause more problems than an disabled one, story wise, of course.
@Gretel:
Transcription says "unverschieden". Of course, that's not what what's written in the original script but I mostly go with the transcripts.

Well, you have to keep in mind that Grimm is still a cop-show. Now starting with a couple having a handicapped kid wouldn't fit into the storyarc. As fan you can dream about that (which I wouldn't, I was raised by handicapped and had several handicapped playmates. I don't wish anybody to have a sick child, that's next to worst-case-scenario). But it would take too much attention from the main-part of the show, and, seriously, I doubt that any of the current writers could write a beliebable non-healthy child.
You saw what they did with Adalind's kid, we already had the situation with Claire pregnant. I doubt that they will do that long run, it's a nightmare for any screenwriter only to come up with pregnancy and babies. Handicapped kid ... then they have to hire some way better ones and have to turn the premise of Grimm. And that I doubt pretty much. There's NBC for, and NBC already killed the original zombie-storyline last year

I'm thinking that during the pregnancy there might be indications that something might be wrong, prompting some Monroe-freakouts, but then the child ends up OK.
Do you think that Bud's wife might be a Wesen midwife? That seems like the sort of thing an Eisbieber might do.

Really? Could have fooled me. It has been behaving more like a soap opera the last couple of months at least.

I'm not very fond of the whole "get Rosalee pregnant ASAP!" thing, sorry. I see how they handled the Hexenbaby and got finally rid of it, I think I've learned a lot about the writers team during the past months ... *shakes head* They may think they are geniuses, they are not.
For me it's too much (bad) cop-show right now. My focus always was on Nick and Monroe as in friends who are helping each other, saving each others life. Hank was pale from the very first minute and he's still the weakest character in the show. Actually they TRIED to turn him into the voice of reason for two episodes this season but he stopped pretty quickly trying to get Nick doing the right thing. This heavy focus on him and Nick isn't my cup to thing.
EDIT:
Fair enough, Gretel sent me a picture with the official subtitles. They say "grundverschieden". That's an existing word not pseudo-German . So, I was wrong about that, sorry .

I remember last season when some started to complain about the Juliette's memoryloss/regain storyline. But ... this time. I'm with you. Please no more babies, and please, no more weddings. I'm seriously sick of this one!
