I'm not sure how many people on here will agree with me but I feel like many of the Wesen of the Week type cases lately have been sort of boring. I started to think about some of my favorite episodes from other sci-fi/supernatural TV series and thought it would be fun to post some ideas I would like to see Grimm incorporate from other shows.
1. This isn't necessarily an idea from another show but it definitely needs to be said: Can I please have an episode where I don't know who the killer is 2 minutes into it? Throughout the first couple seasons there was at least a little bit of mystery as to who the killer was but now you know who the killer is before the theme song even happens. I'm not saying it needs to happen all the time but a little mystery is good every once in a while.
2. I'm not sure if there are any X-Files fans out there like myself but they did an episode called "Hungry" where a mutant is forced to eat people's brains in order to survive. He hates doing it and even tries taking hunger pills and attending a meeting for obese people to stop it. It's actually a really touching episode and was unique due to the fact it was told from the monster's perspective. I would love to see an episode where a wesen is forced to kill in order to survive but hates doing it. In addition, I would like the episode to be from the point of view of the wesen as opposed to Nick or Hank.
3. Buffy the Vampire Slayer did an episode called "Hush" where a group of ghouls invade Sunnydale and take away everyone's voices forcing them to communicate without speech. Obviously it would be hard to have a wesen that takes away everyone's voice but maybe it attacks them and then steals there voice so that way when Nick and Hank interview them they are unable to describe what it is that attacked them.
4. Another one of my favorite episode of the X-Files is called "X-Cops" and is a crossover between X-Files and COPS. Off the bat it's a pretty interesting concept that worked surprisingly well but the monster is also incredible unique too. The monster in the episode has the ability to morph into the person it's attacking's worse fear. This would be hard for Nick and Hank because each victim will be killed in a different way which would make it hard to connect all of the cases.
