After this week, NBC will have premiered most of their new shows for the fall. So far, Blacklist looks to be a winner, while Sean Saves the World and the Michael J. Fox Show look to be doing about average. However, I notice that NBC's new cop drama, Ironside, is tanking on arrival with a 1.3 18-49 demo rating. That rating is sure to crash further next week, and it surely won't survive until the end of October.
So, here's my recommendation for you, NBC. Why waste the decent lead-in of Law&Order:SVU on reruns during the coming months. You wanted a cop show after L&O:SVU, well, Grimm is a cop show. Simply can that bad 1970s nostalgia piece, Ironsides, right now and replace it with Grimm. Since Grimm has yet to premiere, this will be perfect timing so that fans won't get confused.
And really, Dracula looks dead-on-arrival in that 10:00 p.m. Friday slot. Why not give Dracula Grimm's old spot? It worked for Grimm, why not for Dracula?
